MINAGRIS (Micro- and Nano-Plastics in Agricultural Soils) is part of EU’s Horizon 2020 strategy and aims for a better understanding of processes related to micro- and nano-plastics in (agricultural) soils. It does so using a multi-actor approach involving different players from academia, policy and the private sector. My contribution specifically will involve the method standardization for micro-plastic measurement and analysis, and moreover the analysis of micro-plastic transport within soils and its effects on soil chemistry.
