The division «Geoprocessing» at the Institute of Geography is subdivided into the areas <Geographic Information Systems> (GIS), <Satellite Remote Sensing>, <surveying / photogrammetry> and <Cartography>.
While the mapping is primarily part of the service area, GIS, remote sensing and surveying are mainly dedicated to research and teaching.
The division «Geoprocessing» contributes to the training programs of the Institute of Geography at all three levels of Bachelor (Geoprocessing I & Geoprocessing II) via master (Geoprocessing III) to PhD (supervision of individual work).
