I am a student assistant working with Dr. Alexander Vorbrugg on a project addressing land abandonment in Ukraine due to war. I am pursuing a Master's in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the University of Bern. My academic background spans molecular biology and neuroscience. Previously, I worked as a student assistant at EPFL, where I researched traumatic memories for my bachelor's thesis, and also practiced in the National Academies of Science in Ukraine. My interest lies in staying updated on current trends in AI, machine learning, and data analysis.
My motivation for this project is rooted in contributing to Ukraine's recovery during challenging times. As a Ukrainian, I aim to contribute to advancing science, addressing post-crisis challenges, and understanding the threat posed by war. I bring expertise in the Ukrainian language, biological sciences, technology, and an interdisciplinary approach to support the development of this project.
