Yan Liu is a research intern at the Institute of Geography, University of Bern, Switzerland. She holds an MSc in Forest Science from Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH).
Her research focuses on integrating intelligent environmental monitoring solutions with advanced methodologies to support data-driven decision-making in sustainable natural resource management. Currently, she is employing an Agent-Based Modeling (ABM) framework to simulate interactions between forest patches and diverse stakeholders in the West African region.
