Dr. Ofoegbu, project during this fellowship focusses on Knowledge Systems for Forest based Climate Change Interventions.
The project uses the lens of knowledge system to undertake a network analysis of the organizations working in the intersection of climate change and forest management. The aim is to understand how climate information flows among these stakeholders, and tease out the barriers and enablers of climate knowledge flow and integration in forest management. In general, Dr. Ofoegbu’s research program spans from basic to applied socioecological questions, and focuses mostly on the sustainable utilization and management of forest ecosystem goods and services, and providing a strong scientific basis for forest ecosystem management.
