The Institute of Geography cares about the quality of its research and teaching activities (Qualitätssicherung und -entwicklung, QSE). A QSE-Commission coordinates the related work withn the Institute. In addition to teaching evaluation and the self-evaluation of research, the Institute also evaluated its Geography study programme. Results of the evaluations are communicated at Institute meetings and through the website.
